Welcome to the Old Plymouth Society. On our site you will find information about the Society, its publications, lecture programme and visits.

The Society is a local history society concerning Plymouth in Devon and its immediate area. We are not a family history/genealogy society - you can find the Devon Family History Society by following this link www.devonfhs.org.uk.

Although we will try to help anyone as much as possible, we are however unable to answer or undertake detailed research. Also, membership to the Society is only open to UK residents at this time.
